Blind
stand
Blind and visually impaired supporters have their own stands in some stadiums, called the blind stand. At this stand they can follow the match precisely by listening to audio commentary to receive realtime updates on ball position, actions of players or anything that happens in the stadium, what a player does and what happens in the stadium. Beside the necessity for the supporters it is very important for the club to enable blind support as well. The club can show that there is no distinction between supporters with and without visual impairment.
Here you will find an overview of the permanent blind stands in Holland and Belgium.
